We know that you gain more from your travel experience when you  have the opportunity to acquire a more in-depth understanding of a country. That’s why we personally plan and organize each trip. We use our knowledge and expertise to put together the best experience possible. You never stay in a hotel or lodge in which we haven’t stayed ourselves or eat in a restaurant we haven’t sampled. We are always discovering new places and eliminating others.

To know all countries of the world well enough to provide the experience we believe you want is virtually impossible, so we only offer travel to those countries we know very well. That way we can provide you with a more comprehensive, more well-rounded experience. Knowing that people have preferences in how and why they travel, we offer three different ways to travel with Far Corners Safaris:

Scheduled Tours
Each year we offer scheduled, pre-planned tours for those who don’t want to travel alone, enjoy meeting new and interesting people, or find  it easier but still satisfying to have someone else do all the organizing and planning. No tour is ever the same nor are there tours to every country each year. These tours are planned to take advantage of the best weather conditions and/or an important event within a country. No tour has more than 12 people.

Customized Trips
We can also customize trips for families, groups of friends, or for those who prefer to travel with fewer than 12. We work with you to create the special trip you envision. Unlike the scheduled tours, these trips can be planned for any time of the year and for any number of people. Like the scheduled tours, one of the owners accompanies the trip.

Educational Study Programs
Working with universities and professional groups, these trips are generally for-credit learning experiences offered to undergraduate or graduate students or professionals (both actively working or retired) in business, political science, environmental management, medicine, veterinarian medicine, and the hospitality industry. For other areas of interest, please inquire as we are able to develop many other such programs.
